Your guide will pick you up at 8:45 a.m. or 1:45 p.m. at your hotel in Lucerne. If you’re not staying in Lucerne, you will meet them at the Lucerne Torbogen.

Our visit to the farming area of Kastanienbaum (Chestnut Tree in English), a beautiful Lake Lucerne peninsula, provides the perfect views of the lake and the surrounding majestic Alps.

The panoramic walk on the ridge of the hill at the height of 600 m / 2,000 ft takes you through green pastures, working bio farm, a vineyard and past old Swiss chalets to the small village of Winkel with the oldest school house of the region.

The tour ends at a historic lake side restaurant where you can reward yourself with a cool drink while savouring the mountain scenery.

We return to Lucerne either around 12:30 pm (morning walk) or around 5 pm (afternoon walk).
