This hike is approximately 6 miles long with elevation gain of 1,200 ft, and takes about 4 hours to complete.

3. Morteratsch Glacier Walk

Located approximately 30 minute-ride from St. Moritz, Morteratsch is home to the biggest glacier in Bernina Alps. Its stunning silhouette can be admired from the Diavolezza vantage point but those who want to come closer to the glacier, should choose this easy and accessible walking path. Approximately 2,5 mile-long wide path leads to the tongue of the glacier, which feeds the river flowing through the valley. A circular trail will leads you close enough to the glacier so you can admire its structure – beware though, touching the glacier is dangerous.
