Your Swiss adventure begins at 10:00 am at the Zurich Airport Hotel, where your guide will be there to warmly welcome you. Following a brief introduction, you’ll enjoy an engaging itinerary overview and Q&A session.

Your adventure properly begins this morning with a scenic train ride from Zurich to Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most captivating lakeside cities. Spend the morning wandering at your own pace — cross the iconic Chapel Bridge, pause at the poignant Lion Monument, and lose yourself in the charm of the medieval old town before the day’s bigger adventure calls.
After lunch, head to the lake and board a historic cogwheel train, over 140 years old, for the ascent to Rigi Kulm. At the summit, 360-degree panoramas of towering Alpine peaks, glimmering glaciers, verdant meadows and the serene waters of Lake Lucerne unfold in every direction. Take it all in, entirely on your own terms.
Descend to the lakeside village of Vitznau and glide back across the water by scenic boat cruise, arriving into Lucerne as the evening light settles over the Alps. The city is yours for the night — find a restaurant that catches your eye and raise a glass to day one on the rails.

At the summit of Gornergrat, enjoy ample time to take in the sweeping panorama of 29 alpine peaks towering over 13,123 feet (4,000 meters). Around midday, hop on a short ride by local bus to begin our ascent above St. Moritz. We board the famous Muottas-Muragl-Bahn, a charming funicular railway. At the top, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the Engadine valley and surrounding mountains. Here, we highly suggest to enjoy a memorable lunch, pairing breathtaking scenery with delicious cuisine.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the timeless charm of St. Moritz. Unwind, explore, and recharge. Tomorrow brings another beautiful day.

The journey takes you through the Pontresina valley up to Ospizio Bernina, 2,253 meters (7,392 ft) above sea level. Along the way, marvel at the majestic Morteratsch Glacier and the dramatic alpine scenery that surrounds it. As the train descends toward Poschiavo, the landscape gradually opens up, leading to a memorable border crossing into Italy.

Arrive in Tirano, a charming Italian town known for its historic Santuario Madonna di Tirano, before continuing your journey south to Lugano on the Bernina Express Bus. From Tirano, the bus winds through the southern Swiss Alps, offering a gentle, panoramic ride. You’ll travel entirely by public transportation, accompanied by your guide who ensures smooth connections and a relaxed rhythm. A basic level of mobility is needed to walk short distances—between stations, hotels, restaurants, and activity sites—typically 5 to 20 minutes at an unhurried pace.

On most days, expect 3,000–5,000 steps (about 20–60 minutes), with some platforms requiring ramps or short stairs, and occasional brisk walks to reach your train carriage.
